Route 3 Work Plan July 17-22

The Bar Harbor Route 3 Project continues, and here is the work plan for the week July 17-22. Please remember that the Crooked Road Detour is in effect, and to drive slowly as there are lots of children and wildlife along the detour. Please follow the directions of the flaggers.  For a little bit, the one way only has been reduced near Pirate's Cove, but will be reinstated once work resumes in that area.

All work is weather dependent

• Placing new drainage from Barton’s Lane to Crooked Road
• Public works will be installing new water services from Sand Point Road to Hamor Lane
• Excavating and placing new gravel in the roadway from Sand Point Road to Barton’s Lane
• The utility companies will be conducting work in various locations on the project
