Red Sox Fall to Blue Jays 9-4 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox lost to the Toronto Blue Jays for the 1st time in 2024, losing 9-4 on Tuesday night, as Brayan Bellow was hit hard.

Bello lasted just 2.1 innings, allowing 7 runs, on 5 hits. He struck out 2 and walked 3. In his last 8 starts he's 3-4 with a 7.49 ERA.

Josh Winckowski went 6.0 innings in relief, striking out 8 and allowing 6 hits and 2 runs, walking 1. It was the longest relief outing and most strikeouts by a Red Sox reliever since Nick Pivetta struck out 13 over 6 innings on July 17, 2023.

Rafael Devers went 2-4 with a double and hit his 16th homer of the season. The homer, a solo shot was Devers' longest, going 467 feet.

Tyler O'Neill was 2-3 and hit his 16th homer of the season, a 2-run homer in the 6th inning.

Boston and Toronto will play the final game of the 3-game series on Wednesday night, June 26th with the pregame starting at 6:10 p.m. and the 1st pitch at 7:10 p.m. on AM 1370 WDEA.
