The Boston Red Sox beat the New York Yankees 8-4 Saturday night at Fenway Park. The power of the "City Yellow Connect" Uniforms was obvious as they improved to 33-9 when wearing them, and are 6-2 this year wearing yellow.

Cooper Criswell started for the Red Sox and went 4.0 innings, allowing 3 hits and 2 runs. He struck out 6 and walked 2.

Justin Slaten picked up the win for the Red Sox, going 2.2 innings and is now 4-2 on the season. He allowed 2 hits and 1 run, striking out 3 and walking 2.

Kenley Jansen picked up the save, his 11th of the season. It was his 1st 4-out save sine July 1, 2023, and only the 2nd since the start of 2022.

Cedanne Rafaela was 3-4 with a double.

Tyler O'Neill was 2-5 with a double and RBI. He's batting .346 in June.

Jarren Duran was 2-5 with a double, and is batting .370 in June.

Rafael Devers had a double, his 14th of the season, and drove in 2 runs.

Masataka Yoshida had a double and scored a run.

Enmanuel Valdez had a pinch-hit RBI single in the 7th inning.

Boston is now 1 game over .500 at 36-35  and are 2.5 games out of the 3rd and final Wild Card
