Red Sox Beat Texas 9-1 [VIDEO]

After losing 3 games the Boston Red Sox have reeled off 3 straight wins, beating the Texas Rangers 9-1 on Friday night, September 2nd at Fenway Park.

Connor Wong blasted his 1st career home run, a 2-run shot in the 7th inning. His homer was projected to travel 439 feet.

Xander Bogaerts was 2-4 with a double and run batted in.

Rafael Devers was 2-2 with a double and run batted in. He also walked twice, reaching base 4 times on the night.

JD Martinez was 2-4 with a run batted in. He now has 1498 career hits.

Kike Hernandez was 2-3 with a pair of doubles.

Christian Arroyo was 1-4 with a 2-run single in the 4th inning.

On the mound Nick Pivetta went 3.0 innings before exiting with a left calf contusion. He allowed 4 hits and 1 run, striking out and walking 2 batters.

Tyler Danish picked up the win. throwing the 4th inning. Matt Strahm pitched the 5th and 6th innings. Ryan Brazier pitched the 7th inning with Kaleb Ort and Eduard Bazardo pitching the 8th and 9th innings. The 5 relief pitchers combined to 2-hit Texas.
