Finally...a quality start from Red Sox pitching. A 4-1 win over Toronto as Rick Porcello worked seven innings, giving up just one run on two hits, two walks and six strikeouts.

Junichi Tazawa and Koji Uehara finished the game.

Along with the good pitching, the Sox got great defense - like the catch in centerfield by Mookie Betts (above).

And, Hanley Ramirez continues to have an April to remember - his 10 homerun (below)...

The 10th home run for Ramirez is the most he's ever hit in April.

The Red Sox are off on Thursday night, and will open a 3-game series with the first place New York Yankees on Friday nght. The Red Sox with a record of 12-10 are 1 game out of first place.  Justin Masterson 2-0 with a 5.46 ERA will face C.C. Sabathia of the Yankees who has a 0-4 5.96 ERA. The pregame will start at 6:25 PM and first pitch will be at 7:10 on AM 1370 WDEA.
