Rain Doesn’t Damper Spirit of 17th Annual Memorial Carol Dyer Luminiaria Night [PHOTOS]

The rain didn't damper the spirit honoring those who are fighting and those who's spirits were remembered on Saturday night, August 4th on the Village Green in Bar Harbor.

Although the rain prohibited the lighting of the luminaries, the names were read and Peter & David Lindquist as the Neverly Brothers, entertained those in attendance.

The luminaries will be lit Sunday night, August 5th at the Bar Harbor YWCA on Mount Desert Street at 7PM. Luminaria can be still be purchased online at https://donate.ywcamdi.org/luminary or by stopping at the YWCA, 36 Mt Desert Street, Bar Harbor.

All proceeds from this years event go to Home Cooked Healing, a non profit on MDI that delivers up to 5 meals a week to those who are experiencing or recovering from cancer.
