Purple Pinkies to Eradicate Polio

Plan on painting your pinkie purple on Sunday, October 22nd, and it's all for a good cause, for the eradication of polio! Your $1.00 donation to the Bar Harbor/MDI Rotary Club will help their mission in insuring that no one in the world contracts polio!

Members of the Bar Harbor/MDI Rotary Club will be at the Bar Harbor Pats Pizza from Noon to 7 PM on Sunday the 22nd. Pats will donate $1.00 per pizza, eat in or take out to the Rotary Club.

Members of the Bar Harbor/MDI Rotary Club will be at the Thirsty Whale Tavern from Noon to 7 PM and the Thirsty Whale will donate 50 cents for every draft sold to the Rotary Club.

Pinkies will also be painted for $1.00 outside of The Criterion Theatre between 6-7 PM and you can purchase a "Give Polio the Finger" shirt and/or have your pinkie painted purple at at table set up on the sidewalk between First National Bank and Bar Harbor Bank and Trust.
