Portion of Cottage Street to be Closed Wednesday November 16

The Bar Harbor Water Division has announced that portions of Cottage Street in downtown Bar Harbor will be closed to through traffic on Wednesday, November 16th.

On Wednesday, workers will be replacing aging infrastructure, including a faulty water valve at the intersection of Cottage Street and Main Street. From 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. the portion of Cottage Street between Rodick Street and Main Street will be closed to through traffic.

This work will cause water customers in the area to be without water starting at 8 a.m. and lasting until 8 p.m. Affected water customers will be notified directly by the Bar Harbor Water Division.
