Police Identify Person Injured in Single-Car Crash

Police have released the identify of a driver who was injured this morning when her car hit a tree head-on . The woman was taken to the hospital with leg injuries.

The Rebel Hill Road in Clifton was closed for a time this morning, due to a single-vehicle crash.

Police say Georgianna Gatcomb-Pass of Ellsworth suffered leg injuries when her car hit some trees head-on. Crews had to cut a hole in the roof to extricate Gatcomb-Pass from the vehicle.

LifeFlight was called in, but the woman was able to ride in an ambulance to the hospital for treatment.
