Planned Water Disruption on Laurel Street in Ellsworth on Tuesday, May 20
If you live on Laurel Street in Ellsworth, you should know that the Ellsworth Water Department has told us that there will be a temporary interruption in your water service on Tuesday May 20th.
The interruption is due to planned construction work in the area, and will take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The period without water will be as brief as possible, but this will affect running water, your ability to flush toilets, do wash, take showers etc.
Please take appropriate steps to store water for your anticipate needs.
Once water is restored, you may experience some discoloration in your water. If that is the case, you should run water from your faucet until it is clear, if it appears "yellow" or "dirty".
If you have any questions, please contact the Ellsworth Water Department at 667-8632.
