Phelps Pitches and Plays SS in Terrier’s Loss

Former MDI Trojan Jon Phelps played his first two games as a Thomas Terrier on Sunday, March 20th. Thomas lost a doubleheader to Johnson and Wales in Providence 4-1 and 3-0.

In the 1st game Phelps pitched the final 1.2 scoreless innings, allowing just 2 hits and striking out 1.

In the 2nd game, Phelps played shortstop and was 2-3 batting.

The Terriers are 1-3 on the season, and play a doubleheader against Loras College in Auburndale Florida on Wednesday, March 23rd.
