Penobscot Narrows Observatory Opening Delayed Until Memorial Day?

What looked like a simple fix has turned more complicated, and as a result it doesn't look the Penobscot Narrows Observatory will open until Memorial Day Weekend.

The fire suppression system had failed because of a valve, but the replacement valve needs to be specially constructed resulting in the further delay.

The Penobscot Narrows Observatory is located adjacent to Fort Knox in Prospect. Fort Knox is open daily.
