Olly Olly Park for Free – Bar Harbor’s Paid Parking Ends October 30th

It's the best Halloween Treat! October 30th is the last day of paid parking in Bar Harbor, as the paid parking season in Bar Harbor ends today!

It will take a few days before the Bar Harbor Public Work's employees are able to go around and remove the parking meters from the sidewalks, and cover the kiosks for the winter. But effective October 31st you no longer have to feed the meters!

The Town of Bar Harbor has budgeted collecting $3,149,600 in parking revenue for the 2023 fiscal year (July 2023 - June 2024). They have collected $2,376,785 July 1- September 30th according to the report prepared for the Bar Harbor Town Council and their October 17th meeting.

Paid parking will resume on May 15, 2024.
