No School for Conners Emerson Students on February 4th

There will be NO SCHOOL for Conners Emerson Students in Bar Harbor on Monday, February 4th. This is ONLY for the Conners Emerson School, and DOES NOT apply to any other schools in the MDI Regional School System

According the a message from Principal Neilly, the sprinkler  main leading into Emerson broke- bringing water into the Emerson Building and outside by the kitchen. The good news is grades 5/6 classrooms were NOT affected. The bad news is there is water damage to the kitchen, cafeteria, band room, tech room library and gym. Consequently the water has had to be turned off  to make the repair .

As of Sunday afternoon there were excavators and industrial cleaners at the school.
