No New Year’s Baby Down East

All right pregnant mom's to be! The honor of being the first baby born Down East is still up for grabs! As of 11:15 AM, there were no babies born in either Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, Down East Community Hospital or MDI Hospital, and in talking to staff, no one actively trying!

The first baby born in Bangor in 2016 was a girl, born at 11:01 AM at Eastern Maine Medical Center!
