City of Ellsworth Swears In New Councilors, School Board and Library Trustee and Council Elects Mayor [VIDEO]

The City of Ellsworth held their organizational meeting on Monday, November 17th, swearing in 3 new councilors, 2 school board members and library trustee.

When the Council accepted nominations for the chair, Nancy Smith was nominated and seconded for Council Chair. However she declined the nomination saying "Talk to me about this next year.". Patrick Lyons, was then renominated and seconded as Council Chair and elected unanimously.
