Moose Is a Hero, Helps Find Lost Pug Puppy, Pickles, in Bar Harbor

This is Moose...Moose is a 6-month-old puppy. Moose is a HERO!

Moose went out and found Pickles. Pickles is a 6-month-old black pug that went missing Wednesday off the Eagle Lake Road in Bar Harbor.

Poor Pickles was out all alone Wednesday night, but thanks to Moose, he's now home safe and sound.

Moose's owner Ken Hill told the MDI Lost/Found Pet Alert Facebook group:

"We decided to search the woods and Moose led me to the top of McFaralnd Hill (by the stone pile at the peak) where he found a cold and tired Mr. Pickles. I would have turned back but Moose kept insisting. His hound nose led us right to him. I never would have imagined that Pickles would have made it all the way to the top."

Just like all human heroes don't wear capes, not all hero dogs wear capes either.
