Miley Pitches Complete Game Win [VIDEO]

A fun day was had at Fenway Park Saturday as David Ortiz hit home run #496 and Wade Miley pitched the complete game in a 9-2 win over the Phillies.Ortiz got within 4 home runs of 500 when he launched a solo shot as part of the Sox 8 run 4th inning. It was one of 2 hits in the game for Big Papi as the Sox also got 2 hits from Blake Swihart, Josh Rutledge and Jackie Bradley Jr.

The scoring was more than enough for Wade Miley when went the distance while allowing 2 runs on 5 hits while striking out 8. Miley joins Clay Buchholz as the only two Boston pitchers to throw complete game this season.

Eduardo Rodriguez will pitch the series finale Sunday as the Sox go for the sweep with the pregame starting at 12:50 and first pitch at 1:35 on AM 1370 WDEA
