It's been a long couple of years since Northeast Harbor has held their Memorial Day Parade and Community Cookout but we are pleased to report that they are returning on Monday, May 30th!

The Schedule of Events includes

  • 10:30 a.m. Memorial Day Parade along Main Street to the Harbor
  • 11:00 a.m. (Approximately) Ceremonies at the Joseph T. Musetti Memorial
  • 11;30 a.m. (Approximately) Community Cookout at the Harbor

Come celebrate the unofficial kickoff to the summer season at The Neighborhood House Community Cookout on Memorial Day, May 30th! The grills will get going just after the parade down Main Street and ceremonies at the North East Harbor Marina. The volunteer “grill-masters” will be serving up classic hot dogs and burgers (vegetarian option available too) along with chips, a drink and dessert. Veterans are invited to enjoy lunch on the house and all others are just a $5 suggested donation
