Meet Elias Burne – Mount Desert and Bar Harbor’s New School Resource Officer [VIDEO]

Elias Burne joined WDEA's Chris Popper to talk about his new role at the School Resource Officer (SRO) for Mount Desert and Bar Harbor.

Elias spoke about graduating from MDI High School, heading into the Marines, coming back to the Island and joining the Bar Harbor Police Department. He also spoke about being one of the Assistant Coaches on the MDI Football Team and his goals as SRO.

I apologize for the Great Danes barking during the video interview, they found out that Elias owns a Great Dane and wanted to be part of the interview!
