MDI’s Miles Burr Finishes 2nd in 55 Meter Dash at New Englands [UPDATE]

The 35th Annual New England Interscholastic Indoor Track and Field Championship  is happening on Saturday, March 4th in Boston.

MDI's Miles Burr, won the Maine State Championship in the 55 meter dash on February 20th with a time of 6.47 setting a state record

On Saturday, March 4th he competed against the best in New England. In the qualifying heats, he finished 2nd with a time of 6.50.

In the finals, he finished 2nd, with a time of 6.48.

Noble Gagnon from Simsbury, Connecticut won the New England title, nipping Miles with a time of 6.47

Miles also finished 4th in the 300 meters, setting a new personal record with a time of 34.90
