MDI Volleyball Beats WA
The MDI Trojan's Girl Volleyball team rebounded from their loss to Ellsworth on Monday night, by defeating the Washington Academy Raiders in Machias on Wednesday, October 9th, winning 3-0. The individual set scores were 25-18, 25-20, 25-18.
According to Coach Corey
MDI bounced back after a tough loss against Ellsworth with a solid win against Washington Academy. I feel like we played really well at the net, making the adjustments we have been working on, and it paid off of for us. WA is a good defensive team and they got a lot of stuff up, but the girls just kept applying pressure and working efficiently. We hustled really well and dug a lot of balls creating plays, which is something we have been working hard to improve.
