MDI Unified Basketball Wins Sportsmanship Banner
At an all school assembly in Bernard Parady Gymnasium, the MDI Unified Basketball Team was presented with the 2019 Northern Maine Good Sportsmanship Banner on Tuesday, March 19th!

I have said it numerous times, that winning Gold Balls and State Titles are great, but what's even better is winning a Good Sportsmanship Banner! These awards are voted by coaches and officials.
To win it for Unified Basketball, is extra special. It was my honor to broadcast a MDI-Ellsworth Unified Game this year! Everyone should go see a Unified Basketball Game! It will make you laugh, smile and cry all within a hour!
