MDI Tennis Splits with Washington Academy
The MDI Tennis Teams played host to Washington Academy on Monday, May 6th, and the Girls Team beat MDI 3-2 while the Boys Team fell to the Raiders 5-0. Here are the individual results.
Girls Results

- Kare Somes (WA) defeated Katherine Hoff (MDI) 5-0 (DNF)
- Austria Morehouse (MDI) defeated Mickon Whitney (WA) 8-4
- Leila Weir/Olivia Chandler(MDI) defeated Taylor Bridges/Uyen Nguyen (WA) 8-1
- Yunce Ulakur/Marlince Bammingen (WA) defeated Addy Smith/Heather Finger (MDI) 8-0
Boys Results
- Jakub Figel (WA) defeated Nick Harding (MDI) 8-1
- Greg Moulton (WA) defeated Reider Watson (MDI) 8-0
- Ju Cho (WA) defeated Luiz Estacio (MDI) 8-3
- Finn Sunde/Jacob Mills-Lightning (WA) defeated Trevor Morrison/Fernando Avalos (MDI) 8-2
- Noah Huang/Sam Perkins (WA) defeated Whit Chaplin/Marshall Reiff (MDI) 8-5
