The MDI Boys and Girls Tennis Teams traveled to East Machias to play the Washington Academy Raiders with the Boys winning 3-1 handing Washington Academy only their 2nd loss of the season. The MDI Girls were nipped 3-2, although number 1 Regitze Jacobsen won, continuing her unbeaten streak for the season. Here are the individual results

Boys

  • Nick Harding (MDI) vs Greg Moulton (WA) 1-1 Did not finish because of rain
  • Reider Watson (MDI) defeated Noah Huang (WA 7-5
  • Luiz Estacio (MDI) defeated Ju Cho (WA) 6-3
  • Finn Sunde/Jacob Mills (WA) defeated Trevor Morrison/Fernado Avalos (MDI) 6-3
  • Whit Chaplin/Marshall Reiff (MDI) defeated Sam Perkins/Aleks Kourdy (WA) 6-4

GIrls

  • Regitze Jacobsen (MDI) defeated Rosa Jilapak (WA) 6-0
  • Kait Somes (WA) defeated Katherine Hoff (MDI) 6-3
  • Michon Whitney (WA) defeated Austria Morehouse (MDI) 7-5
  • Leila Weir/Olivia Chandler (MDI) defeated Yunce Wakus/Malice Bammegen Bridges (WA) 6-3
  • Taylor Bridges/Kristen Kilton (WA) defeated Addy Smith/Heather Finger (MDI) 6-2
