MDI Softball No-Hit By Hermon Lose 4-0
The MDI Trojans were no-hit by Breanne Oakes on Tuesday, May 1st in Hermon. Lindsey McEachern was the tough luck losing pitcher, allowing just 4 hits, and 4 runs, all unearned, while striking out 11.
Oakes didn't allow a walk, striking out 11. Only 1 Trojan reached base, on an error.
Laura Zenk had a triple, Oakes a double and Katie Windsor and Rachael Balmas had a single.
MDI is now 2-1 and plays at Old Town on Thursday, May 3rd at 4:30 and at Foxcroft Academy on Saturday, May 5th at 12 Noon.
Hermon is 5-1 and plays at Central on Friday, May 4th at 4:30 PM.
