MDI Rotary Club Will NOT Hold Seafood Festival and Blueberry Pancake Breakfast on 4th of July

The MDI Rotary Club has been the sponsor of the Seafood Festival and Blueberry Pancake Breakfast for years, on the ballfield in Bar Harbor on the 4th of July. Last year's events were cancelled due to COVID.

The MDI Rotary Club released the following statement regarding the 2021 Seafood Festival and Blueberry Pancake Breakfast.

After careful consideration, the Bar Harbor (MDI) Rotary Club will not be holding its annual Pancake Breakfast & Seafood Festival this year. We encourage you to visit local island restaurants while celebrating the holiday in our idyllic seaside setting. Please mark your calendar for the 2022 Pancake Breakfast & Seafood Festival, to be held in downtown Bar Harbor on July 4th 2022.

The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring the annual Parade and Fireworks. That was announced on May 5th. The annual concert on the Pier sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce will NOT be happening
