MDI – Lake Region Quarterfinal Football and Coach’s Show [LISTEN LIVE/VIDEO]

The #6 MDI Trojans travel down to Naples, Maine Friday night to take on the #3 Lake Region Lakers in a 8-Man Large School Quarterfinal Matchup.

The kickoff is at 7 p.m. If you can't make it down to root on the Trojans, you can listen to Chris Popper with the call of the game, starting with the pregame at 6:40 p.m. on AM 1370 WDEA, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device.

MDI enters the contest with a 4-4 record while Lake Region is 6-2. The Trojans have averaged 19 points offensively while allowing 23 points per game defensively. The Lakers have averaged 41.25 points per game while allowing 16.5 points per game.

MDI Head Football Coach Mark Shields joined WDEA's Chris Popper on Halloween for the weekly MDI Football Coach's Show. Coach Shields talked about the win over Waterville last Saturday, and who they gave the game ball to after the game. Coach Shields also previewed the Quarterfinal match-up with Lake Region on Friday night, November 1st.
