One of the things I was reminded about at MDI Hospital's Free Health and Wellness Fair in Bar Harbor on Saturday, April 26th was their FREE Walk in the Park series.

The walking program is designed for pleasure or fitness. The goal of the program is to offer a sale and enjoyable activity for everyone. MDI Hospital reminds you that if you are not currently exercising you should consult with your health care provider before starting any exercise program.

The walks begin at 8:30 a.m. In case of inclement weather, cancellations will be determined by 7:30 a.m. and program participants will be notified via email.

To sign up, please contact Mary Parham, the Community Health Education at 207-801-5034 or email her at mary.parham@mdihospital.org

Remember to wear appropriate shoes, dress in layers and you may wish to bring water, snacks, bug-spray and a camera.
