MDI EHS and Sumner Grads Making the Honor Roll Fall 2018 Semester

We have posted stories about MDI, Ellsworth and Sumner grads who have excelled athletically in college and beyond. We haven't done a good enough job recognizing those students who have excelled academically in post secondary schools. Today, we attempt to rectify this.

The following have made the Dean's/President's lists for the Fall 2018 semester.

• Jacob MItchell graduated from MDI in 2018 -Dean's List at Northeastern University majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Drew Rich, graduated from MDI in 2017 - Dean's List at UMiami, Florida, majoring in civil engineering and the marine science programs with a minor in math.
• John Fendl, graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2015. Now a senior at Maine Maritime Academy, made the Dean's List, majoring in Marine Transportation Operations.
• Emma Forthofer, graduated from MDI in 2017 - Dean's List at Loyola Marymount, studying Film and TV Production
• Alaina Duley, graduated from MDI in 2017 - Dean's List at Keene State College. studying Criminal Justice.
• Madeline Bierman, graduated from Sumner in 2018 - Dean's List at UMaine majoring in International Affairs with a concentration in International Security.
• Finn McConomy graduated from MDI in 2018 - Dean’s List at Wheaton College studying Physics and Engineering.
• Andy Boisvert, graduated from MDI in 2018 - Dean's List at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas studying Automotive Engineering Technology
• Bailey Cust graduated from MDI in 2018 - President's List at Husson University studying Marketing Communications.
• Brittany Corson, graduated from MDI in 2016 - Dean's List Endicott College
• Mia Strout, graduated from MDI in 2015 - President's List Gordon College studying Juvenile Justice
• Samantha Mason, graduated from Ellsworth High School 2017, Dean's List at Maine Maritime Academy majoring in International Business and Logistics.

• Hayden Goodwin, graduated from MDI in 2018 - Dean's List at Maine Maritime Academy, studying Marine Systems Engineering
• Abby Kelley, graduated from MDI in 2017, - Dean's List at Boston University, studying Political Science
• Sam Giffin, graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2018 - Dean's List at Maine Maritime Academy studying Marine Engineering Operations
• Jared Brown, graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2016 - Husson University, Presidents List studying for his Doctorate program in Physical Therapy/Kenesiology
• Sarah Shelton , graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2015 - University of New Hampshire , Dean's List studying Recreation Management and Policy
• Flannery Dillon, graduated from MDI in 2015. Dean's List at St. Lawrence University. She she is going to Cortona Italy on February 1st to study Art and Art History for the spring semester.
• Paxton Colley, graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2015. Dean's List at the University of North Carolina and is a Kinesiology major.
• Hannah Sargent, graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2018. Dean's List at Husson University, College of Health and Education
