MDI Coffee House Tuesday February 18th

Island Connection's Free Coffee's On! Senior Coffee House  has returned for the 2019-20 season at the MDI YWCA located at 36 Mount Desert Street in Bar Harbor. In the hopes of assembling a broader audience to come out and socialize over coffee, goodies and conversation, as well as listen to music or special speakers on various topics, the Coffee's On! Senior Coffee House has been renamed the MDI Coffee House.

The MDI Coffee House meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, November through April and goes from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The next Coffee House meets Tuesday, February 18th..

On the 3rd Tuesday of every month, Island Connections is cooperating with the Age by Design Program to bring in speakers/activities on relevant topics. This month Jenna Beaulieu from the Seal Cove Auto Museum will give a presentation entitled "Can Do" about the can-do-spirit  that embodied the beginning of the Auto Boom. Hear about the early days of the automobile and how Ford, the Stanley brother and Finley Ray Porter were believers in their abilities and how that gumption made the auto world what it is today!
