MDI High School Football Coach Mark Shields joined WDEA's Chris Popper on Friday, November 10th as the MDI Trojans get ready to play the MCI Huskies on Saturday night, November 11th at 7PM for the Northern Maine Class C Regional Final.

Coach Shields talked about the effect of the cold on the team, hanging onto the balls and what the Trojans might do to mitigate the effects of the cold. He talked about the team's practices this week. Coach Shields talked about how Jackie Carroll's yoga on Monday and Thursday has impacted the team. He also spoke about staying loose on Saturday, as the game is outside the normal Friday night.

Coach Shields talked about the need for the fans to come dressed warmly and get ready to root on the Trojans even in the cold!
