MDI Boys Win Class B North Sportsmanship Banner

The 2019-20 MDI Boys Basketball Team were awarded the Maine Principal Association's Class B North Sportsmanship Banner for the 2019-20 season at the Class B State Title Game at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Friday, February 28th.

While Gold Balls are great, the Blue Sportsmanship Banners voted by opposing coaches and the officials are a significant achievement. How you play the game, the respect you show opposing teams, coaches , fans and officials are lifelong lessons that you take long after you leave the court.

This is the 4th Sportsmanship Banner won by MDI in the 2019-20 school year. The Boys and Girls Swim Teams and the  MDI Volleyball Team all won Sportsmanship Banners.
