MDI Boys Soccer Defeats GSA 4-1

The MDI Boys Soccer Team defeated George Stevens Academy 4-1 in Blue Hill on Tuesday afternoon, October 20th.

MDI led 2-0 at the end of the 1st Half as Henry Lester started the scoring for the Trojans and then Iean Howell scored off of direct kick outside the box, after Zack Zamon was fouled.

Iean Howell scored again for MDI after the intermission on an assist from Finn Baker to make the score 3-0

GSA scored before Philip Catanese scored on a breakaway, shooting in the top left corner to make the final 4-1

MDI is back in action Thursday evening when they will play Ellsworth at Del Luce Stadium at 6 p.m. hat game will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device.
