MDI Boys Shutout Ellsworth 3-0

The MDI Boys Soccer Team defeated Ellsworth 3-0 on Monday evening, September 17th in Bar Harbor.

Derek Collin and Oliver Johnston figured in all of the goals for the Trojans. Collin scored unassisted with 23:25 left in the 1st Half. Johnston scored with 4:10 left in the Half off of a direct kick to make the score 2-0 at the end of the 1st Half.

In the 2nd Half, Collin scored his 2nd goal of the game, assisted by Johnston.

Ivan Andros was in goal for the Trojans.

MDI is now 3-2-1 and will play at Washington Academy on Wednesday, September 19th at 4PM.

Ellsworth, winless on the season at 0-6 will look for their 1st victory when they play host to Old Town on Wednesday, September 19th at 6PM.
