MDI Boys 2nd EHS 8th in Regional Final

The MDI Boys Cross Country Team finished 2nd, while the Ellsworth Boys Team finished 8th in the Northern Maine Regional Championships at the Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast on Saturday, October 21st. The MDI Boys Team qualified for the State Championships.

The Ellsworth Team finished with the same score as Erskine, but came in 8th because of the tiebreaker (finish of 6th place runner) and thus didn't qualify. The top 7 teams qualified. However, Ellsworth's top 2 finishers, Matthew Frost and Matthew Shea qualified for the State Championships based upon their individual times.
