The MDI Baseball Team led 7-4 after 5 innings and hung on to beat the Old Town Coyotes 7-6 on Thursday, April 25th in Bar Harbor.

Sam Keblinsky pitched for MDI picking up the win, throwing 6.2 innings. He allowed 4 hits, and 5 runs, 2 of which were earned. He struck out 3 and walked 4. Brady Renault came on in relief, getting the final out, allowing 1 run and walking 1 and striking out 1.

Chris Albert, Tanner Evans, Brenden Gasaway and Michael Brown each had a single for the Coyotes. Brown had 2 stolen bases and Albert 1.

Brendan Gasaway pitched 2.2 innings, starting the game for Old Town allowing 2 hits, 3 runs, none of which were earned. He struck out 3 and walked 4. Nate Young took the loss for Old Town throwing 3.1 innings allowing 3 hits, 3 runs, none earned, striking out 1 and walking 3.

For MDI Drew Shea had a double and Logan Beckwith, Sam Mitchell, Nick Corson and Quentin Pileggi each had a single.

MDI, 1-1 will play Caribou in Aroostook County in a doubleheader on Friday, April 26th.

Old Town, 0-1 is scheduled to play host to Hermon on Saturday, April 27th
