MDI Baseball Blasts 3 Homers Beats Bucksport 12-2

The wind was blowing out to centerfield Tuesday afternoon May 21st in Bar Harbor and the Trojans took advantage of it, blasting 3 home runs, 2 by Drew Shea and 1 by Porter Isaacs. Shea ended up driving in 5 runs, and Isaacs 3 runs. The Trojans won 12-2 in a mercy rule 5 inning game.

The Trojans blasted 14 hits. Sam Keblinsky batting leadoff was 3-4 with a double. Drew Shea, Nick Corson, Porter Isaacs, Quentin Pileggi and Kyle Nicholson all had 2 hits. One of Nicholson's hits was a double. Sam Mitchell had a single.

Sam Mitchell threw 4.2 innings allowing 7 hits, 2 runs, both earned, striking out 2 and didn't walk a batter. Pileggi got the last out, allowing a hit, a walk and a strike out.

For Bucksport Ty Giberson and Jacob Ames had 2 hits, with 1 of Ames' hits being a double. Cameron Grindle had a double. Ryan Howard, Tyler Hallett and Dylan Wight each had a single for the Golden Bucks.

Isaac Moore went 3.1 innings allowing 10 hits, 9 runs, 6 of which were earned and struck out 3 and walked 1. Owen Gaudreau threw the last inning, allowing 4 hits, 3 runs and walked 1.
