MDI and Ellsworth Basketball – Friday December 20

The MDI and Ellsworth Girl's and Boy's Basketball Teams are in action on Friday night, December 20th as MDI hosts Presque Isle and Ellsworth hosts Caribou

MDI

The MDI Girls will host Presque Isle at 6 p.m. MDI enters the game with a 1-0 record, having played their 1st game of the season on Tuesday, after numerous postponements and beat Washington Academy 69-45 MDI is in 9th place in the Class B Heal Point Standings.

Presque Isle is 3-1, and have won 3 games in a row after dropping their 1st game of the season to Old Town. The Wildcats are in 8th place in the Heal Point Standings.

The MDI Boys will play Presque Isle at 7:30 p.m. MDI enters the game 0-2, after losing to Orono and Hermon in close games.

Presque Isle is 3-0 and in 8th place in the Class B North Heal Point Standings.

Both of these games will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio. You can also listen on WDEA's Free Downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device. The pregame will begin at 5:45 p.m.

Ellsworth

The Ellsworth Girls host Caribou at 6 p.m. Ellsworth enters the game with a 3-0 record, currently tied for 6th in the Class B North Heal Point Standings. Caribou is 4-0 and number 1 in the standings.

Coach Pooler is going to have to rely on his deep bench with the recent injuries to Abby Radel, Sydney Mason, Lily Bean and Addison Atherton.

Caribou is led by Madelynn Deprey who was selected as the Big East Girl's Player of the Week by the coaches.

The Ellsworth Boys host Caribou at 7:30 p.m. Ellsworth enters the game with a 3-1 record, after dropping their game to Old Town 61-59 on Tuesday. The Eagles are in 3rd place in the Class B North Heal Point Stadnings

Caribou is 4-0. They are in 2nd place in the standings.
