Trenton Elementary hosts elementary/middle school games, adult pick-up on Wednesday nights and is the home court for the Acadia Youth Sports' basketball teams.

Tony McKim said "We are thrilled to be able to give back and help our school, community and the kids of Trenton/Lamoine and MDI. Nothing makes us happier! Cheers to basketball in our great part of the State!".

The McKim Family had previously donated scoreboards to MDI High School. MDI High School Athletic Director Bunky Dow stated "The scoreboards that were donated by the McKim family is a tremendous gift for the Trenton Elementary School. New scoreboards are very expensive and this gift doesn't effect the budget at the school!  On behalf of the Mount Desert Regional School System we really appreciate the McKim's support!"

Crystal DaGraca, the Principal of the Trenton Elementary School said "Trenton Elementary is very grateful for the generous donation from the McKim Family. Tony has supported our school so many ways as a coach and as a supportive community member. These scoreboards are a wonderful addition to our school and will benefit our PE program and athletics."

Trenton Elementary Athletic Director Alex Johnson said "After 9 years of my being at Trenton, our scoreboards have suffered from electrical and wiring problems. They always worked enough to limp through the season, but never worked correctly. After coaching several seasons of our Girl's Basketball Program, Tony decided to donate brand-new wireless scoreboards as a farewell gift. The new wireless scoreboards will solve all of the electrical wiring issues  of the past and may be used by our community to the fullest. A big thank-you to Tony McKim  for all that he does for our Trenton and District community."
