MDI High School Principal Matt Haney joined WDEA's Chris Popper on Tuesday, January 5th to talk about the school's switch to 100 percent remote learning for the minimum of 2 weeks (through January 15th)

Today, January 5th marks the 300th day since COVID-19 was first detected in Maine.

Matt Haney talked about resources available for students who are feeling lonely or depressed. There are teachers, guidance counselors, even the school principal who are available to talk and help students. The big thing is to reach out! Don't shut down!

Haney and Popper talked about the sacrifices that the community and families are making and need to make so that way schools can continue to safely operate.
