Majority of Acadia National Park’s Park Loop Road is Now OPEN
Rangers at Acadia National Park announced on Thursday, April 18th that the majority of the Park Loop Road is now OPEN.
There are still some areas that are not open to vehicles because of the continued ice and snow remaining on the roads. These include the Cadillac Summit Road and access to Wildwood Stables.
This Saturday, April 20th is the 1st Day of National Park Week. There is no admission charge to any National Park on that day. There will also be no charge on August 25th in honor of the birthday of the National Park Service and September 28th which is National Public Lands Day.
Rangers will be at the stations in Acadia National Park collecting admission beginning on Wednesday, May 1st.
