Maine Seacoast Mission to Move Administrative Offices to Northeast Harbor
Back in July 2017, the Maine Seacoast Mission announced that it was going to move its administrative offices out of the Colket Center on West Street in Bar Harbor and sell the building and property. Now, according to the Mount Desert Islander, they will move their offices to Northeast Harbor in a yet to be built building, owned by Mount Desert 365 .
Mount Desert 365 is community-based organization dedicated to promoting long-term economic vitality of the town of Mount Desert through expansion of sustainable year-round residential communities and economic revitalization of commercial districts.
The new building is set to overlook Northeast Harbor's Marina, which is the home port of the Mission's vessel Sunbeam
