Congratulations to Ellsworth High School Senior Keith Jordan who this weekend  will be receiving the highest honor in scouting, his Eagle Scout!

Keith has been a Boy Scout in Troop 86 since 2012. In the 5 years he has been in Troop 86,  he has held multiple positions of leadership in the troop including being the Senior Patrol Leader in 2013. In 2014 he and the rest of the Venture Crew 1102 of Orland traveled to Cimarron, New Mexico to complete a 50 mile trek in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range at the Philmont Scout Ranch.

Since then Keith has been using the leadership skills he has learned through scouting at Ellsworth High School He has been a captain of the football team his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior seasons, and also being an officer on Ellsworth's Student Council, National Honors Society, Tri-M, and International Thespians Society.

 

In mid-October Keith Jordan completed his Eagle Scout Service Project, which was building a sign for the town office in his hometown of Waltham. The sign allows the  Town to display important information  such as meetings and upcoming elections.

Jordan would like to thank Finishline Graphics, Ellsworth Building Supply, Viking Lumber, Tree Stump Leather, and EK Jordan, who donated supplies for the Project. He also would like to thank Brian Linscott of Union River Builders and Roger Grey for all of their help throughout the building of the project as well as Tim Curts, Justin Brown, Alec Toothacker for being a great friends and willing to help.  He is also indebted to his scoutmasters, his troop, all the parents of his troop, and of course his parents Brenda and Gregg Jordan.

His Eagle Scout Ceremony will be held this Sunday at Cave Hill School
