Jipson Named Maine Rural Letter Carrier of the Year

Congratulations to Vicki Smith Jipson who was named the Maine Rural Letter Carrier of the Year. She delivers out of the Bar Harbor Post Office to the Hulls Cove, Salsbury Cove and Town Hill areas of Bar Harbor.

Jipson, who has been a Rural Letter Carrier for 23 years and a member of the Rural Letter Carriers Association was nominated by two other carriers. She was selected by a committee of other Rural Carriers.

The Maine Rural Letter Carriers Association will be sending Jipson along with the Maine delegates to the National Rural Letter Carriers Association National Convention August 12-16 in Grapevine, Texas. This will be Jipson's first time attending the National Convention.
