It’s ‘Free Movie Night’ At Maine Savings Amphitheater This Friday
A FREE movie outdoors? Not a bad way to kick off a weekend!
It’s a rare non-concert night on the Bangor Waterfront, so grab the gang this Friday night, July 12th, because Bangor Parks and Recreation are teaming up with the Maine Savings Amphitheater, to host a FREE screening of the smash hit "Wonka"
The gates will open to the public at 6:00pm on Friday night, and the film will begin at 6:30pm sharp. Best of all, there is plenty of room on The L.L. Bean lawn, to stretch out and enjoy the show on the big screen.
Also, it is an excellent chance to get a look at all the new improvements made to the concert facility while you are there!
Food and drinks will be available for purchase during the movie. No outside food or drinks are permitted.
You can bring a blanket to sit on, however lawn chairs are not permitted at the venue.
Guests will enter thru the Northwest Entrance, right across the street from Dunkin.
Plus, special guests, the Bangor Police Department will be outside the venue with their bomb team and NEW robot!
This retelling of the 1971 American classic, is the story of a young Willy Wonka, who is armed with only a hatful of dreams, but somehow manages to change the world, one delectable bite at a time.
It hit the big screen last December, with Timothée Chalamet, playing the legendary title character.
"Wonka" was a huge success, grossing a worldwide total of $632.3 million bucks!
It is the perfect Friday night movie to watch outdoors for FREE, with the whole family!
