Island Connections Needs Volunteer Drivers – Learn More Over Coffee Thursday October 1st

Island Connections, an essential service that provides free rides to the elderly and disabled on Mount Desert Island to doctor's appointments and other life-enhancing and necessary activities is in need of volunteer drivers.

If you have an hour a week or more to offer, please attend Island Connections next “Joy Riding” event, held Thursday, October 1st  at 11 a.m. at Colonel's, located at 143 Main Street in Northeast Harbor. There is no need to sign-up in advance, however you are asked to meet the Island Connections representatives where you see the ISLAND CONNECTIONS sign and wear a mask while social distancing.
