Island Cheer and Tumbling Teams Excel at National Championships Head to Florida Next Week

Island Cheer and Tumbling Cheering Teams in Deer Isle, owned by Amber Jones have had an exceptional winter. Team members consist of kids from as far as MDI, Ellsworth, and Bucksport who travel along with many Deer isle, Brooksville, Brooklin, and Blue hill area kids. They have attended multiple regular season competitions where they have placed top 3 at across the board.

Last weekend they competed in the US Finals where 2 of their teams came home as National Champions- Surge their senior level 3 team, and Tidal their youth level 1 team. Captain, their junior level 1 team were runner-ups and Riptide, their Senior Level 2 team came in 4th, only .36 away from 1st place.

Next week Surge and Riptide will compete in Florida for National Titles.
