HCTC’s Culinary Arts Students Cooking for the Community

Hancock County Technical Center's (HCTC) Culinary Arts Program and Ellsworth's VFW Post 109 have collaborated for over 20 years to feed senior citizens and shut-ins Thanksgiving meals.

This year's feast will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the VFW Hall on Main Street in Ellsworth at noon.

The students prepared 10 turkeys, 20 pounds of stuffing, 150 dinner rolls, 100 pounds of mashed potatoes, 5 pounds of squash, 10 pounds of buttered corn, 5 pounds of green beans, 5 pounds of buttered broccoli, 5 gallons of gravy, 26 assorted pies.
