Friday Food Drives Begin November 1

Our sister station I-95 together with Bar Harbor Bank and Trust will kick off their annual food drive campaign tomorrow, November 1st. All the food stays in Hancock and Washington Counties.

Unfortunately, the need for food is greater and greater every year. Food insecurity is a major issue here in Maine.  You can drop off your non perishable food donations or money at any office of Bar Harbor Bank and Trust in November.

Food Drives are as follow

Friday November 1 11 AM - 1 PM Bar Harbor Hannaford, Cottage Street

Friday November 8 11 AM - 1 PM Ellsworth Shaw's High Street

Thursday November 14 11 AM - 1 PM Blue Hill Tradewinds

Friday November 15 11 AM - 1 PM Milbridge Bayside Market

Friday November 22 11 AM - 1 PM South China Tobey's Market

Your donations will help out people that receive food from the Tree of Life Food Pantry in Blue Hill, The Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and the Emmaus Center in Ellsworth, the Bar Harbor Food Pantry and the Downeast Food Pantry in Cherryfield.
